Oh what a day!

It is now 7:00 and I just took the last little boy up for bed. I am sitting outside on my porch drinking an adult beverage and loving every second of it. Today has been a really long day. Where to begin?

Ok I will start from Wednesday. As most of you know, I have a live in nanny(Miss Lara) that helps me with all these crazy boys. Miss Lara and her boyfriend went to Seattle for the week. So fun! I am super jealous! Especially since I am alone with all three boys. Russ lost an employee this week at the plant and he has been working even longer hours than usual. My mom and dad went to the lake for the weekend. That leaves me to take care of all three. It probably wouldn't be SOOO bad if I weren't so spoiled with all the extra help.

It really is the little things that make a big difference. Like the twins not being able to walk. It would be so much easier to load my car if they could actually walk outside!! But oh no. Too easy! I have to carry one on each hip with Ash leading the way and barking out instructions to "his twins."

Nap time today was pretty entertaining. I am a VERY scheduled mom and I don't mess around when it comes time for bed or nap. The boys are always very willing and actually very happy to get in their beds. I can honestly say I couldn't tell you the last time I heard one of them cry when I put them in bed. So needless to say, I was really surprised when I heard SCREAMING from upstairs right after I took the twins to bed. I was so scared! I thought one of them had fallen out of their crib! As I ran up the stairs I realized that the twins were having an all out party up there! They were both roaring with laughter and having a full on "little girl" screaming contest. I couldn't help but laugh myself! After about 15 minutes of nonstop screaming and laughing they finally got tired and fell asleep.

Dinner time was also really interesting. Henry decided that he wanted to feed himself. I hate a mess so I was totally against it but he wouldn't eat so I finally gave up. I think the pictures explain themselves. I especially like the pea stuck to Henry's chest and the carrots all over his hands!

Now on to bath time! After dinner we headed straight up for a bath were I found more veggies floating in the water. Sounds bad huh? Not really. You should have seen what was floating next! Yep! Harper decided to take a poopoo in the tub!

I have been doing laundry all day while the kids have ran circles around me. Well I got quite the surprise as I pulled the darks out of the dryer. Looks like they decided the dark pile wasn't big enough and added two balls to the pile. So sad that I didn't even notice until I pulled the clothes out of the dryer! How this didn't start a fire I will never know!

I think I deserve my adult beverage! Being a stay at home mom is hard work!!!
