Well last night I went upstairs to tuck all the kids in before I went to bed. I do this every night and usually find the same thing every night. Last night was a MUCH different story!!! I walked into Ashton's room but found...nothing! Where in the heck could he have gone? I have child locks on his bedroom door, his bathroom door, and his closet. I immediately panic! He was not is his bed or on the floor. He didn't somehow make his way in his closet either. I was REALLY getting nervous now. As I went to see if he was in the bathroom I had horrible thoughts running through my head. Did he get in the tub and turn on the water and drowned? I can't tell you how fast my heart was beating!!! As I opened the door...I found NOTHING! Ok now I was beyond panicked!!! I was frantically looking around his room and for some reason I decided to open his armoire. Don't ask why because I have no idea. I just could think of anything else. This is what I found!!!!
If you are wondering...yes, the doors were closed! I still can't figure out how he got the doors closed or why in the world he would want to but it was too funny!!!! I ran downstairs, grabbed the camera and pulled Russ up to see. We laughed so hard and Ash stayed sound asleep! I wonder about the little guy sometimes!!!

Little weirdo! I love him. I want to show this pic to his girlfriend when he gets older.
I bet you were terrified, but omg, that is SO CUTE!
God I love your stories!!!
That is quite possibly one of the funniest things I have ever seen!
Thank God you looked in there....I would have never thought to look IN the furniture!!!LOL
OH my gosh! I am cracking up! How cute is that. What in the world would make hime get in there-and how did he get the doors closed! Maybe he was embarrased b/c you put him in purple p.j.'s-lol!
I found your blog through Heathers. That is one of the funniest things I have read. I have a soon to be two year old and could totally imagine him doing something silly like that. I just had to leave a commment!
That is the funniest thing I have ever seen!!! God love you Les!!!!
We actually raised 3 sons to become happy, healthy, productive adults. But those early years made my hair turn gray. Hope you are recording all this in a journal. I didn't and wished I had - would have made a great what to do/what not to do guide to raising boys.
From Panama OK
Too funny. I happened upon your blog somehow and love checking in. We have 4 kiddos, three boys and then a lovely little girl. I have a similar story to share. One night after we'd put the kids down I went up to our room to straighten it up and went to grab a sock that was laying on the floor just sticking out from under the bed. When I grabbed it I realized there was a foot inside of it. It was our 3 year old son, Ben. He had gotten out of his bed and crawled under our bed and fell asleep. I did the same thing you did, ran downstairs to get the hub, and we laughed for a few minutes before gently pulling him out to place him back in his bed. Boys are something else, never a dull moment and worth every second of it.
